Obesity

Obesity is a common lifestyle condition affecting the majority of people who leads a sedentary lifestyle and high consumption of fast junk foods with low nutrient value. Paralysis

Stroke/Paralysis is defined as the rapid onset of focal neurological deficit resulting from diseases of the cerebral vasculature and its contents. Stroke represents the third most common cause of death in developed nations. The prevalence of stroke in India is approximately 200 per 100,000 persons and 9.94% of total deaths.

In Ayurveda, Paralysis is termed as Pakshaghata which means “paralysis of one half of the body” where “paksha” denotes either half of the body and “Aghata (=paralysis)” denotes the impairment of body movements and mental stability.

Symptoms for Paralysis

Disc Prolapse

A disc herniation or a prolapsed intervertebral disc is more commonly known as a slipped disc, a common condition that affects the intervertebral discs of the spinal column. It is one of the many conditions that can affect the spinal column. It’s a condition affecting the spine in which there is a tear in the outer fibrous ring of an intervertebral disc which allows the soft central portion to bulge out of the inner part of the disc, other conditions can include thinning discs, degenerative discs or bulging discs.

A slipped disc is a spinal disc that has shifted out of its original position, applying pressure and compression to spinal nerves and to the sciatic nerve that runs through the spine. This causes extreme pain due to compression of the nerves and can result in severe muscular spasms.
